This may be in the wrong area but I wanted to know if any of you have or know what you cost per house is. I do understand it will very from size house. For example for a one story 2000 square foot house. Your Labor, Chemicals, Wear/Tear, Fuel, vehicle, marketing.

A $500.00 house wash starts with $.90 worth of eLemonator, $4.00 worth of bleach, $35.00 worth of marketing, $100.00 worth of labor, $32.00 worth of truck expense, $50.00 worth of general overhead, $9.00 worth of equipment replacement expense, $20.00 worth of repairs and upgrades and about $250.00 worth of owners salary and profit. Oh, and a $15.00 yard sign.

YMMV

I was just asking to see if I was in the ball park. We would charge about $396 and our cost is below

$4 worth of bleach?
That's only 1 gallon retail around here
$2.75ish bulk

10% of the square footage for the ground level + 5%-7.5% for the second level. Adjust for level of difficulty (plants, obstacles). Even though I have a price breakdown, I don't itemize my quotes.

I would usually use more than 1 or 2 gallons on a 2k square foot home, if I were to guess, between 4-6, sometimes I may be able to get away with a couple gallons if it's a brick house and they're just looking to get eves washed.
Is this bc I'm in such a humid area?

I charge $280 as a minimum. If I would be taking advantage to the customer at that price I add concrete. I want to make $280 per set up

Simple one story... starts at $200 Simple 2 story starts at $300 Concrete starts at $100 usually Avg $350 plus on a single story. Always start higher and watch for the head going up and down for yes. If the eyes move around know your bottom and find their budget. If it works for both of you and it fits your business model. Do it, put a sign in the years and make more on the next few that call you. $300 in revenue is better than $200 in advertising expense any day of the week.
