Just wondering if anyone's familiar with this product and service! I've been contacted and not sure what the point is to these, but if anyone knows id like more info? Thanks Mikey

I have not heard of that company but it appears to be the same set up as Grease lock filter system. Basically the company comes into the restaurant and puts tracks on the front of the hood system. Then they place these disposable filters on the track absorbing a majority of the grease before it can hit the normal metal filters. In a busy restaurant they can go through this filters in less than a week, they just slide out and toss them. Filter company makes lots of money selling the disposable filters every month.

These company's selling point to the restaurants are less cleanings for your hoods so you save in the long run. I don't believe they are that cost effective because you end up spending a few hundred a month on the filters.
 
Wow, that may cost them more in the long run on a busy place. I know they promote that its cost effective when they take in consideration of the cost of roof damage and labor to clean the filters. Most accounts I have the roof is shot already from poor grease containment systems, but the ones that have a grease capturing devise stay pretty clean. kinda seems it can work against me & them to promote them, and if it will cost them a lot more including hood cleanings even if they reduce the intervals! That's there pitch- reduce damage to the roof, prevent heavy build up in the hoods, and schedule cleanings less frequently.
I have seen them go in to 15 stores and watch them over a 3 year period. I'm not sold.
 
Seems like a short term deal, then all is back to normal when the numbers come in for the customer! Thanks, Nick
