Ideas on securing equipment

I have all my equipment that I may want to move eye bolted and ratchet strapped. Others like tanks and PW skid are hard mounted with u-bolts. If im worried about thief security I have a large cable to lock everything together.

Bolting things down, also need to consider the size of the unit and what type of wood floor is on the trailer. A larger pressure washer or water tank can easily rip bolts out of the floor if the proper bolts/backing is not used. For some smaller tanks I have used e-track so I could removed stuff later easier and more quickly. I use lock washers, never really had an issue with these, and everything is a minimum 3/8, with bigger tanks having 1/2 inch bolts.

I mount my skid to the frame with 3/8 eye bolts. 3 " straps on my water tank.....Never had a problem

I use steel locking nuts, and fender washers. On metal floors,I just use regular washers. When I get really worried about something, I just do a quick weld on the threads of the bolt. I have had equipment disappear in the night before.
