I had a local TV station contact me with a deal they are running. 275 15 sec commercials, runs all summer long for 700 dollars. They send a guy out to record and video for an hour then edit it down to 15 sec. Was wondering if any of you guys have done something similar and if so what kind of results did you get. Was it worth the money? Any responses are welcome, just looking for some input.

Way back about 10 years ago I tried commercials. I cant remember all the specifics but we didnt get any calls. I think they ran on hgtv and cmt. And I think it was midday. And Im thinking it was maybe 60 spots, but it also may have been 15 which is quite different. And we paid about what you are paying. We were very surprised we didnt get any calls.

Well I haven't paid anything yet, suppose to meet with the lady tomorrow.

What is channel 13? Here it is a small out of town station. That could make a difference of your results, and the message you give.

you'd probably be better served buying internet ads on local news station, local newspaper. to show the visual wow factor. Radio is cheaper than TV... get your message across with testimonial about mold... and you can pick your targeted audience based on Demographic... ..saturday home and garden radio show.... talk radio, adult contemporary ... wherever the 1-800-asks -gary commercials don't run!

I did a TV commercial a few years back and really didn't have that much success with it. Just so everyone knows, I no longer honor the $149 driveway cleaning special that's in the video....

I think TV is basically a way of branding. IDK 275 15 second spots seems like a good way to get your name out there. You won't get calls off it right away but it could help you down the road when someone goes looking for pressure cleaning services. Just make sure you can be found when that happens.
