Are these any good? I use the exploding ones, they swivel like butter, just replace on schedule. The Mosmatic gun swivels spin great, gut are longer than I like.

I could be wrong but I think that those are just swivels to connect pipes or hoses that don't swivel, kind of like a union to connect pipes that cannot rotate.

I don't think that is meant to be like a mosmatic swivel that most of us use on the ends of hoses or at the gun.

Think of connecting a pressure hose to a hose reel, if you have the end of hose that swivels it is easy to connect to the hose reel but if you have the end that does not swivel, you have to turn the hose counter-clockwise about 8 or so turns so you can thread the hose into the elbow on the hose reel manifold, with this swivel, you attach it to the elbow on the manifold then it will turn onto the hose end so you don't have to turn the hose counter-clockwise to thread it on to the manifold.

These can be handy for the hose reel, unloader and other places that if you don't have swivel ends on your hoses, this will help a lot.

I will have to give them a try, thanks for letting us know about them.

Yes Tom those Je Adam swivels are very good and they work good on the whip line that you connect the ball valve to.

You have a whip line at the end of your hose? What purpose does that serve? You have a pic?

I have used them they are ok but I found the mosmatic to be way better and last much longer. I have not tried the Suttner one but they do make good quality products.

Tony would tell you to check under your bed before ordering. LOLOLOL

Chris once found a 12 volt pump still in the box under his bed and personally delivered it to my door here in Florida.

Going to try the suttner, they also have a new one with a side bearing that is supposed to last 10x longer - Will report back!

Checked under the bed and out in the garage, I have not tried those type yet, was thinking about it just for the ease of changing out things like Unloaders or manifolds.

Before I switched to the Mosmatic, I used the Adams and the Suttner because of cost,..and thinking they were all the same,..boy was I MISTAKEN,..neither of those even come close to the Mosmatic. Not only do the Mosmatic spin freely under load,..but also have alot better life than either of the other two. Not only do the GOOD swivels take the strain off the user,..they also help minimize hose twist,..and in my opinion eliminating hose twist will add life to the hose.

Tom, although the extra length doesn't bother me, they are definitely longer. But, could you simply add a short whip line to your trigger and get the swivel down line a few feet? I would think it would still function.

Jeff
