We've added in a new addition over at the DeckGuide forums.
After some final tweaking we now have a certifications area within our user profiles.
I am a firm believer in that you cannot get enough education... EVER! Even if all of the material doesn't follow the same procedure once learned you can refine and decide on your own what works best for you.
As usual knowledge = $$$$
With that in mind we wanted to allow members to show off their certifications and hopefully promote further education within the industry. Were doing this by displaying a certification symbol which symbolizes your certified for wood care through that particular organization. Shortly, you will be able to click on the badge representing that said organization for further information on becoming certified through them.
Overall I think this we be pretty cool and bring a new level of interest to the site.
Sooo.... if your certified through a particular organization for wood care (Wolman, PWNA, flood, etc..) please email me the specs on it. I will dig in and create a logo for that organization and post it to your profile.

Too bad the forums went down the toilet... some small amount of regret there for selling it but as they say it is what it is!
