Cleaning Sidewalks with Surface Cleaner

I know it varies with amount of staining on the concrete and what machine you run, but how many square feet can you clean in an hour?
My machine is 3500 psi, 5 gpm. I read somewhere 3-4000sqft per hour, does that sound about right.

Mainly foot traffic, some lawn mower tire tracks.

Commercial. Some places there is lawn on both sides, some one side. This is my first real bid, and its a big'n (to me anyway). almost 30,000 square feet of sidewalks. They want a price to set it up for maintenance quarterly, maybe monthly. I may be biting off more than I can chew...

What kind of sidewalk? residential with lawn on each side? It takes me longer to rinse residential sidewalks than it does to clean them. I can do 1200- 1500 sq ft with a 5.5 gpm machine. That includes everything.

That sounds about right.

With sidewalk cleaning, don’t under estimate the time it takes to pack up, move, fill up with water, then get back cleaning again.

Unless the concrete has been previously cleaned and or your rig is set up for cleaning sidewalks, you may be down to cleaning as little as 1000 sq ft a hour.
With monthly maintenance cleaning, you should be able to achieve three times that rate.

It can be done but that is a small machine for that size area.

Yeah, who is this rance guy anyway? j/k

What is in the two step method from superior?

What is in the two step method and where can I get some if need be? Do you sell it?

Hey Brian. We carry 2 step truck washing chems and systems. Give me a call Monday.

To answer the original OLD question: I am around 2000 sqft per hour with 8gpm on concrete that hasn't been cleaned in a long time
