Hello from Branty Power Washing

Wanted to take a minute and say hello to everyone. My name is Dave. My fiancé and I recently started Branty Power Washing, serving the North Dallas area. We are a family business - she manages the books and aids in business management, our teenage girls help with door hangers and passing out marketing material, I do most 9f the cleaning, marketing, and management, and our nephew backs me up if ever I need help. Once my twin b8ys get old enough, the goal is to hand the business off to them eventually.

Although I've researched the industry (and these forums) for months, we just started marketing a week ago. I was nervous getting started. Afraid of doing all that work and not getting any clients. Today, I signed my 4th cliwnt. With one week of marketing, I'm taking that as a good sign. So far we've only marketed residential. This week we plan on approaching a few local restaurants about cleaning their patios, though I'm afraid to be too agressive with commercial until I can get a hot system.

My current system consists of a Simpson 4200psi/4gpm cold water, GP 18" surface cleaner, 18 ft pole, etc. I'm hoping to upgrade to a hot water system as soon as possible. A large portion of my intake os being saved for it (I don't finance).

Anyhow, that's us in a nutshell. I'll apologize now if I annoy you folks with lots of dumb questions as we learn and grow.

Thank you for reading.

Welcome to Pressure Washing Institute! You'll quickly realize this is a great place to learn and grow, if you haven't found out already.

Good job on the jobs, and keep the ball rolling!

For that house? Yes on the low pressure tips, no on the SH. They asked for a water-only cleaning. Basically just wanted loose dirt, spider webs, etc removed. It was actually a pretty easy job, and they were happy. In fact, they gave me my first referral.

Welcome

Congrats on the startup of the business, don't fret too much on the pressure washer right now.. i clean gas stations with a pump up sprayer, 4000psi 4gpm Mi-t-m portable cold water and a home depot 12" briggs and stratton plastic surface cleaner..... it gets the job done and looks perfect every time. My new Pressure Pro and ground force 24" I just bought yesterday from Russ should make things way easier. :)

Welcome to the forums!
