He's Gonna Get Life!

I've always been neutral when it comes to Tony Stewart,..but this is clearly a SERIOUS TERRIBLE decision on Tonys part. I don't for one minute think he tried to hit the guy,..but his actions of not backing down to the guy who was coming after him was a very bad decision with a horrendous outcome.. Tony should have simply turned the wheel and drove around him,...but it looks as though he wanted to stand his ground and not back down, which is ridiculous considering there was no chance of any bodily harm that could have come from the guy that was after him. In my opinion Tony was F*****g with him and it went very badly.

I would like to see the slow motion of the incident and see if in fact the rear kicks out as some others are saying.
Tony should not race today,..just seems to callous to be out driving after this terrible accident. I think his sponsors are gonna split,..whether it is deemed accidental or not.

I think in the end,..Tony is the only one who knows if he pro actively caused this guys death, or at least if it could have been avoided by turning left and avoiding the guy altogether.

Hard to see from that angle... cars were still traveling fast under causation... Kid was in a a rage as he clearly went towards 2 other cars first... then ran right up to the right side of the car remember sprint cars are center seat cars..... if the kid tried to put his hands in the window and throw a punch he could easily get tangled up... anyones first reaction is to leave the situation. As a driver, official, fan, or spectator..... you have no right to walk onto a "HOT" track... much less try to penetrate a moving a race car..

I agree Matt,..the driver was definitely in the wrong by leaving his race car. And it is hard to tell yet what actually happened at the point of the incident. Whether he lunged inside the car or whether Tony could actually see him and when. It's just bad though when someone dies from something so avoidable,..even if the victim did make the first mistake.

One thing to point out, the man caused a crash, then instead of staying away from that crash area he came near full speed under a yellow flag with a half mile to slow down to below acceptable cautionary speeds around that same corner and he also DID NOT FOLLOW NASCAR RULES FOR AVOIDING A CRASH SITE AT ALL COSTS. Meaning the District Attorney will determine if that Stewart had a reasonable path to avoid or slow and utilize the infield track or lower rumble strip then he should have done so and not doing so would be considered gross negligence which is considered manslaughter. Case point: Kevin Ward is still with in that zone considered off limits even with him walking away from his vehicle. (Drivers are considered impaired upon an accident and typically considered handicap or delirious until a track side official administers basic questions to determine general consciousness and alertness.) Maybe he was suffering from a severe concussion and unable to realize he was in danger on the raceway and fueled by adrenaline and anger) *Not the deceased fault* Drivers should realize another person might be incompacitated and could have just fallen down beside his car. Point, he was struck with in meters of the original crash site, Stewart should have NOT taken the high bank and utilized the lower path, his radio spotters have told him over their radios GO LOW GO LOW. He ignored and went high taking a path which crossed into that original zone. That will be a major factor, Nascar records all audio as well as the FCC for major events.. that little radio call is really looking bad for him. Inboard camera I HOPE will show his steering wheel movements, better hope it doesn't show him turning the wheel right.

End rant.. time to post pics of the store I cleaned an hour or so ago.. RIP Kevin Ward Jr

*Scenario*
Mike Tyson has knocked many fighers out, some standing, some still trying to fight, some flat on the canvas. Is it the other fighters fault if he is knocked silly by Tyson and falls out of the ring landing on a child and breaking that childs arm as he ring stumbles around not sure whats going on? Its not that fighters fault as he clearly doesnt know he was dazed. The same is assumed for a driver in a wreck, his actions can be a result of a potential injury making him unaware he as putting him self in danger. Stewart returned to the *corner* where the wreck was. That is bad to me and the Rules of Nascar and every driver on the track which had ample time to go low.

Not his fault at all on the other side of the story..

Oh yeah, I race at Madera Speedway in California..... in a slower but same sprint style car.... anytime theres a wreck, you avoid it... you dont make a whole lap half mile around and take the same line as you did before. You just don't. Wow... im on the side of Kevin here...

Much love to everyone though... I guess we all get excited about stuff we are passionate about right... I mean I just got my new PWer and anything that has pop'd up so far seemed drastic but was really minor... I guess we just boil this down to a life was lost.. lets try at all costs to not make it two lives taken to remedy the situation in the legal standard of penalty if Steward really did nothing wrong..

Peace to all and to all safe working conditions!

Sherriff took Tony's Go Pro out of his Sprint Car. Nascar has all the Audio. The video will show everything. My opinion: Tony will not be charged for any Criminal charge. But, There will be a Civil Lawsuit against Tony and maybe the Track.
I know this is a Pressure Washing Forum. Just wanted to add my .02 cents worth

Number 1 the guy shouldn't have been down on the track where the cars were passing. They have dirt/mud on there visors and it is hard to see. Number 2 Tony shouldn't have hit the gas when he pass him. If anything happens it should be involuntary manslaughter.
