Abbreviation glossary

I think one way to improve this site would be to include an abbreviation glossary for newcomers. I have run across multiple abbreviations that I have no idea mean or that could have dual meanings. One example is the use of SH. At first I just assumed it was sodium hydroxide, but then I realized it could be sodium hypochlorite. Maybe it's just my inexperience but I find this pretty confusing. Anyway that's just my two cents.

Very encouraging Johnson. Hardly in the spirit of the site. You could have said "Welcome to the site Andy C" and then if you didn't want him here you could have encouraged him to leave in the nicest possible way. Now he will think we are all Assholes and not bother to come back. IMHO.
 
We'll I guess not everyone on this site is helpful. I'm sure there are subjects I could belittle you on Chad but then again I was raised better.
