What do you get for fuel mileage Scott? I've had my eye on an 87 with the 3.0 v6 for awhile now.... :)
11.5 mpg. The supercharger really sucks the gas. The 89 Ranger is a joke since some want me to be broke. Ain't happening.

I really want some knuckleheads to believe it, and not everyone gets it.

It really is a very nice truck, and the mileage is about the same as I have had for the past three trucks I have owned. It is just a blast to drive, and off road in.

But it's not a dodge, therefore no good for garages or doctors

Yeah, we know what kind of schedule doctors keep. I need to be to stuff on time, because I keep a full schedule.

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm supposed to get my truck truck back from the dealer tomorrow I'd drive the Nissan Sentra I got as a loaner up to Vegas.

For those of you keeping track this makes the 4th time my truck has been towed to the dealer. 3rd time in 6 or 7 months now.

The initial recon team has arrived.

I think you mean nurses and candystripers, no legitimate doctors, just wannabees and make-believe.

I think that qualifies under the lemon law, I think it was 3 or more times in the past 6 months. I would look into it.

Yes, it towed in yesterday at around 3. I'm supposed to be out of town right now, instead I'm sitting at home catching up on billing and paperwork this morning. Nothing I can do now but wait for the dealer to call me.

I do have to give my dealer credit though, they actually get with the program when my truck goes down plus they are actually an account of mine as well.

Unfortunately California's lemon law doesn't apply to commercial vehicles. I've already contacted a couple of lemon law attorneys and they said they can't help me. Some of the fire departments locally here though had the Fords with the 6.7L engines, I see they are getting rid of them and going to the Dodges with the 6.4L Gas Hemi. I'm just exploring my options right now, I might just go back to a gas engine next time around.

I have had nearly zero trouble with my 6.2 liters. Plenty of power, and very reliable. The only continuing issue I had was on one truck that on assembly there was a wire pinched in the harness, so it would randomly short out. They actually flew an engineer in the 5th or 6th time they had to pay for a tow. He was the one that figured it out. Since they fixed that, we haven't had any problems.
Your mileage may vary, but I have 16 2011 or newer f350's.
