UAMCC Las Vegas National Environmental Seminar 2014

I have had nearly zero trouble with my 6.2 liters. Plenty of power, and very reliable. The only continuing issue I had was on one truck that on assembly there was a wire pinched in the harness, so it would randomly short out. They actually flew an engineer in the 5th or 6th time they had to pay for a tow. He was the one that figured it out. Since they fixed that, we haven't had any problems.
Your mileage may vary, but I have 16 2011 or newer f350's.

Do you know what your trucks weigh in fully loaded with water and everything Scott? I know they did some configurations to the 2015 with the 6.7L diesels. I'm at my Ford dealer quite abit (not by choice) and I rarely see any other work trucks like mine getting repaired. I think I just got a bad one is all. I love the way this truck pulls, turning radius on it, the way it rides. Pretty much everything, it just likes taking trips to the dealer when it wants to is all.

Unfortunately California's lemon law doesn't apply to commercial vehicles. I've already contacted a couple of lemon law attorneys and they said they can't help me. Some of the fire departments locally here though had the Fords with the 6.7L engines, I see they are getting rid of them and going to the Dodges with the 6.4L Gas Hemi. I'm just exploring my options right now, I might just go back to a gas engine next time around.

How much does the price of diesel adjust up to after you factor in Urea?

I would estimate it at about $.10 or $.15 a gallon. My truck isn't using any UREA right though, that's another problem with it. The nice thing is that you do pay more $$$ for the diesel engine but in resale value you actually get most of it back.

The dealer is saying October 9th or 10th before I see my truck again. The $35 sensor is on back order right now. I'm pulling my trailer with a 2015 F-250 rental for the time being. My wife told me tonight to get rid of it as soon as I get it back. I was going to wait til the end of the year but I'm done with this pile. Thank God for back up units.

I have never actually weighed them. The water tank weighs in at 4600 lbs and the pressure washer is about 600-800 lbs. it depends which machine a truck has on it. It also has a dumpster that weighs about 100 lbs. So I figure 5500 lbs. I know we are right at the edge of the capacity.

No Babe Ruth Jokes Please

So a man and his dog walk into a bar. The man proclaims, "I'll bet you a pizza that my dog can talk."

Bartender: "Yeah! Sure ... go ahead."

Man: "What covers a house?"

Dog: "Roof!"

Man: "How does sandpaper feel?"

Dog: "Rough!"

Man: "Who was the greatest baseball player of all time?"

Dog: "Ruth!"

Man to Bartender: "Pay up. I told you he could talk."

The bartender, annoyed at this point, throws both of them out the door.

Sitting out front on the sidewalk, the dog looks at the guy and says, "or was the greatest player Mantle?"
