I just ordered an X-Jet M5 this morning. This sounds alot better than my cheap $19.99 DS Injector I bought off ebay. I do alot of flat work right now, so what settings are you guys using for that? I will be DS'ing EBC.
Thanks

Now I feel better about the big $ spent on the x-jet..LOL. Guess I will just mess with it when I get it. Seems everybody raves about them..No??

I hate my X-jet... ( it has its uses )... I prefer to DS........... IDK about buying an injector form ebay. Mine cost $60 ... I have 8GPM and GP Hi-draws are horrible... ( meaning they will not suck enough soap ) I don't want to lug around a bucket. ( but when needed i will )

You can always test your draw ratio..
I don't have any issue with GPS High Draws. I run 8gpm use 200 feet of hose 12 gpm guns and #50 orifice soap tips using the 2.1mm injectors and draw copious amounts of soap. Xjet is a great tool for rare occasions but I just downstream from the hose reel on the trailer 95% of the time.

Same here Pat....if I need anything stronger....I fire up the roof pump.

I have an X-Jet and I have rarely used it myself...

We'll choose to downstream or use a dedicated pump (roof pump)

Curious guys... when would you choose to use the X-Jet? I've really only used it for sidewalks

When i switched from 4 to 8 last fall. The drop in soap draw was overwhelming. I loved the rinse, but the draw was horrible.. I have 250' on each reel. I tried the SSS and the difference between the 2 injectors is not even close! Yes I have an Xjet when wronger is needed. 12v pump as well for my own stringer mixes. But the SSS is hands down better than the 2.3 hi draws. ( i tried the 2.1's too... ) no comparison I have a few 2.3 hi draw paperweights brand new and still shiny bright brass.

So do you have a pic of your setup Pat Norman? I have a 300' hose and my local dealer swears that a 3 way valve would not work for chemical DS. I was just going to mount the 3 way on the trailer. What pumps are you using to DS?

300 feet of 3/8 hose might cutoff the injector due to excessive back pressure. But with 200' I do fine.

Here is my modified xjet that let's me softwash with large #50 orifice nozzles instead of high pressure. You need at least 2 feet of lance after the xjet or it will just blast straight through.

Hey Pat,can you put your x jet back together the way it was?(just in case I want to) That was an M5 right? I love the strength my x jet puts out. Just don't like the pressure it sprays at, and the mist that gets in my lungs. That looks like a great alternative. Also what length of hose do you use?
