X-Jet M5

Yes it was an m5. Yes I could put it back together but never will. It will suck a 5 gallon bucket dry in 2 minutes with #50 orifices with my 8gpm washer so that 5 gallons soap to 16 gallons water! Pretty darn strong. Haha autocorrect changed my word to darn. I run 30 feet hose to the xjet and have a 15 gallon bucket on a two wheeler. We never fill it past half though so it won't slosh on people's Zoysia. I rarely use it but have a sledgehammer when I need it. I don't keep a roof pump anymore.

Thanks Pat. Looks like I have a new project today.

Call me at 662-316-7685 if you have any questions. I also used qc's right at the gun to switch over to my regular wand. Heck I didn't think I guess you could just use qc, s on both ends of the xjet and use the same lance.

So if I understand you correctly pat, you can get the same ratios (as high as 2:1 without proportioners) with your modified XJet but now have the ability to use your downstream nozzles (50 orifice) so you can choose zero through 40 degree fan patterns? That is cool.

Yes and with the lance between the xjet and #50 nozzles the pressure drops back down almost to "normal" downstreaming pressure. Without a lance or even with a 6" pipe nipple the water was still shooting straight through the 50gpm nozzles like they were 00 shooter tips at high pressure even the 4050. But with long enough of a lance it allowed it to fill with water and come out the 50s with low pressure.

Got "R" done! Thanks Pat. This thing works perfectly with my jrod configuration. Sucked right through a 5 gallon bucket in two minutes just like you said. at about a 17% injection! Just got to figure out the hose and bucket situation. I got 25 feet of hose, along with the 15 that came with it, I hope the draw stays the same. This thing should be perfected and marketed as an add on to the xjet. I tried all the nozzles on my jrod and they all worked great, just like downstreaming!

How far will it shoot?? What about adding James Shooter tip?

It shoots as far as the j rod nozzle does. I used a zero degree #30 nozzle and it went like 20-25 feet sideways. All I have to do to shoot to a 2nd floor is uncouple the wand and the xjet tip is sticking out. I will use it on 2nd story soffits and gutters, if the algae and mold is really glued on there, you know what I am talking about. Mainly I am going to use it on driveways. I got a pool deck and pool cage to do tomorrow. Maybe i will take a video of it in action. Just got to figure out the bucket moving situation.

I took a 5 gallon tote... drilled a hole in the big cap... barb fittings on the inside and outside of the cap.... I can carry it or strap it to a rubbermaid industrial garbage can wheel dolly to drag behind on longer concrete runs.. I got the tote idea from the Xjet totes they sell... someone else strapped one to the janitor dolly.... So i used both ideas... I thought i had a pic.. must have deleted it..

I read that someone was using 50 feet of hose with no problems, that would be ideal. Situated in the right spot you can cover 100 feet. The only problem is the SH in the hose. Gotta figure that one out too. I got the xjet spill proof tote, looks easy enough to copy, if the need arises to go bigger. It is a pain in the butt when a 5 gallon tote is empty in two minutes. I'm using one of those manual transfer pumps from my chem tank. Might have to break out the 5850!

The X-Jet tote draw cap screws directly onto SH 5 gallon totes (at least the ones I get out here).

I read that too. I have a 30-foot hose and outfitted it with ball valves at both ends.
