    Reagent or food grade?

    Hey everyone. I'm looking to buy some sodium hydroxide and some potash. Do you guys go with the reagent grade or food grade? I know that the reagent grade has higher purity but does it make a difference?

    Andy, for degreasing it doesn't matter at all. Whichever is cheaper.
