preffered supply/garden hose

what is your preffered supply hose? wether its to a tank, or straight to the machine.. i typically buy 3/4" non-kink..

but wondering if you guys have a link or an exact brand you like best.. found this on amazon prime, and thinking about ordering some.

always like this hose... they discontinued it go-figure........

I think you'll need at least 150 feet. I use 150 + garden hose often. You will run across houses where you can't get the owners hose and sprayer off, and you end up going to the back yard for water.

a couple 100ft non kink work just fine, I think having a reel on the trailer for water hose is a waste of space if you have a truck roll it back up and toss in the back of the truck and on to the next job, I use that hose I didn't pay that much for it though.

3/4 inch commercial rubber hose found typically at hose disturbers, not typically found in big box stores.

Its big, its heavy, but they last and its one less thing to worry about.

I'm not 100% sure if the Elements hose that you linked to on Amazon is the same one I got at HD.
If so, I would highly discourage you from purchasing it. Any hose is "kink free" when you don't recoil it. The one I have is horrendous.

I like the BLACK Flexogen made by Gilmour. Light, 8 Ply and 500 PSI. Most kink free hose I've ever used. Coils and uncoils nicely. I actually just bought 2 more 100' sections for $37.00 each.

This is the same hose I use except 5/8 in size. I buy it from Lowes in 50' and 100' sections.

Same here on the lows never kink hose. I have found it holds up even better then the expensive "contractor" hose.

I've got 100' of the Apex 3/4 on one reel and 300' of Goodyear 3/4 hose on another reel made from at Hose Power USA location here. The Apex is much lighter. I have one of the "neverkinks" kink though.. So i went to the 300 feet of 3/4. The Goodyear is heavy!! I generally use the 100' Apex reel on residential.

Use the red Goodyear hose and you won't need another one for years. I had some in use for over 10 years.

I have had the Goodyear rubber hose longer than I can remember. I have definitely gotten my moneys worth out of it. I also have it on a Big hose reel hanging on the back of my trailer. I like it that way, because I pull the truck up, hook the hose, and have a 300 foot radius that I can go to wash, and move easily. No taking it off, and putting it back on.

That is back when trucks were our specialty, and we would wash 500-600 vehicles a week.

I'll second the flexogen. I use one daily. It's going on a year with no issues. Never kinks. Goodyear is by far the best though.

I have goodyear and parker heavy duty contractor hoses, a few that are over 10 years old now with trucks, cars and tractor trailers driving over them daily and I have only replaced the ends a couple times, even though they are more expensive than the hardware store hoses, they have lasted and paid for themselves many times over. When they wear out I will be buying the same thing again.

With the Hanny Electric hose reel, it is easy to roll up quickly.
