Mixing ratios

Hello all,

Is there an AP or website or chart geared to determining mixing ratios to determine how much bleach, detergent, & brightener that I have to mix to get 1% SH on the house surface? I've got a 4 GPM PWer, 4K adjustable PSI, 5 gal bucket, 10% SH, can DS or use MTM foaming nozzle (trying to figure out which one I prefer), & RoofSnot. Thanks.

10% 'straight' SH through a 10% DSer = 1%. (pretty weak mix)
10% 'straight' SH through a 20% DSer = 2%. (my standard house wash mix)

RoofSnot (or other surfactant) ratio depends on how much SH you plan on using. I use either 5 or 15 gallons (of SH) at a time depending on the job size.

No app needed, just a little math.

Being exactly at 1% isn't that critical,..sure you don't want a huge variance,.but I'm certain my mix is ever EXACTLY the same,Ha,Ha,..Not sure what others do when they use 2/3 of a bucket of soap,...but I just add what I feel is the proper amount of soap and SH and water to make it close to what it should be. Sure sometimes it's a little different in strength but isn't a game changer.

Point is just don't get all hung up on being at an exact ratio.

I have never found an injector that pulls what they claim it will.

Don't over think things, some SH is stronger than others, depending on what part of the country you are in, I know that the SH in Florida and North Carolina is way stronger than what I can get here in Texas so I use 12.5%.

Test what works for you and your system, some have to use straight SH in the container with surfactant, some can dilute it some, it is all different based on what you have and can get.

Do a few tests on some algae/mold and see what works and try diluting and if it still works then stick with that formula, stronger on the really bad stuff.
