Only washing the green parts on a fence

Not gonna name any names, but a local guy here was asked to wash a customers fence, and they decided to get lazy and only wash the green spots. Obviously it came out looking like garbage. I only found out because the customer called me with a case of the red ass, asking me if I was associated with these guys and wanted me to come out right that second and fix it. Had to explain to her that these guys infringed on my trade name and that it wasn't me (yes, I have trademarked this name so anything similar and possibly confusing to potential customers is trade name infringement) but she seemed too pissed to even wanna listen.

Anyone else ever heard of such sheer laziness?

LOL. That happens down here all the time. (half assed jobs that is)

Yes, an amazing amount of half assing here haha. Granted I don't know her, or her situation, but sure sounds like some of the people I come across. Many of those people repeat the process of wanting everything cheap as all, uneducated people to do the work, and then are upset on a bad outcome..

Gotta tell these people: Time, Price, Quality - Pick two, you'll never get all three. Makes me want to put that on my trailer.

I offered to go do the job, and do it right, but she says she's not paying twice for something. I gave her the right contact info. Not sure why she called me anyway. She addressed them by their first names so I believe her. Just blows my mind and kinda ticks me off because her and her friends will probably never call another pressure washing company with "tiger" in their name ever again

Why withhold the name of the company? If they're shitty contractors, people should know. I'm not saying start a smear campaign, but I wouldnt without their names either.

Hey Jeremy. Do we know this guy?

"Time, Price, Quality - Pick two, you'll never get all three".
love it Johny.

Screw it, the guys infringing on my name and won't respond to me nor my attorney. He's doing bad work and scaring customers away from "tiger" pressure washing companies and I literally lost work because of him, got the voicemail where the property management company turned me down once he realized he called both of us thinking we were one in the same (he turned both of us down because they didn't wanna deal with confusion or legal issues).

Tiger wash.
He's on these forums.

I knew it. He still posts on the other forums.

I've got an attorney working on it. I'm very reluctant to change since I've put 2 years and thousands of dollars into branding this name.
My attorney has emailed, mailed and called them... they refuse to respond. next step is to drag them to court. He said since I've got that voicemail of me getting declined a job because of the confusion, not only can they be forced to change their name, but I can also sue them for lost wages.
Let's hope this process goes smoothly. Seriously though, there's enough work here for someone not to have to piggy back off of another man's hard work. I'm not out to crush the competition or anything like that, I have a great relationship with multiple other local power washing contractors, but none of them have pulled off any jack moves on me like this, and they all do quality work.

Sucks- but as much as i hate to say it i would consider changing my name as well

I would see how it plays out with the attorney but a few more chit jobs could crush you

Keep us posted

Thats what a lot of people don't understand.

Ralph, I've seen him around too. And to be honest, I get the two mixed up - always have.

Yeh, to be honest I didn't even think the guy owned a pressure washer, he was trying to sell SEO services to everyone, until somebody exposed him for using questionable tactics. Blackhat or whatever. Now he posts 4 or 5 times a day on other forums, with just three or four word..."good job, so and so" or repeats an answer someone else gave, obviously just trying to boost his own SEO.
