Seal N Lock scam letter

Hey guys. There is a letter I got and a bunch of others I know have received it, purportedly from Seal N Lock. It is a scam and was not sent by them. It basically says that if you had any sealer from before August 1st because of bad batches, they will replace it and if you fill out the form at the bottom they will send you a free 5gal kit.
There are several things in the letter that were obviously false which is what prompted me inquire.

Just ignore it.

Why? What's the motivation?

It's simple really... To collect information.

Then whoever is doing that sells your information to a competitor of seal n lock, and they use your information to market to you.

Those sly guys! haha
