Question about water pole / "noodle"

Hey guys. I've had a water pole (high pressure 24' extender) that years ago I would use for cleaning random things when not using chemicals. To be honest I haven't dragged the thing out of my trailer in over a year, and don't really see myself using it again..

I guess my main question to you all would be, is there any reason to keep this goofy thing around? While I was searching it looks like many of you just hop on the roof to clean out the gutters, which seems like a better system since you can see what's getting cleaned.

I was planning on craigslisting this off, to someone who is as naive as I was getting into the field. Since I already have the thing, can anyone think of something I could use or repurpose it for?

Just like any tool, it has it's place. Just not very often.

I left mine on Rt 80 in New Jersey in 2001. I hired a guy, and the first thing he did was take the bungee's holding the noodle and a 28 foot ladder on my ladder rack , and proceeded to use them to hold his cooler shut. I noticed when I got to the job that my ladder and a 24 foot noodle weren't onboard. I saw the ladder mangled on the other side of the road on the way home. That was one of my experiences hiring someone. Apparently it didn't dawn on him that the bungees were wrapped around the ladder and 24 foot extension wand for a reason. Oh I never bought another one(noodle) because they are useless. And I fired that guy.

I had to use mine twice in the last week, but I don't have the yellow one. I have the hydroteck one and its way easier to setup and use then the yellow one. I don't use it often though, ie I bought it a year ago and this is the first time I have used it. It stays in the shop though, not the truck.

I also bought some when I first started but I use them once or twice a year when you need a little bit of pressure when the chemicals alone will not do the job and you don't want to get a lift out there for a small job. Just another tool for the job.
