Recommended heater for box trucks?

Same thing we use guy...

The last 5 years tho we have been able to park them inside and not have to use the heaters.

At one time I considered using the Webasto heaters, I think they would pay off if you lived where it was cold a lot of the time.

Your heater size and type also depends on the size of the box as well as how insulated the box is. Also mentioned how cold it gets and how much water you hold in the truck.

I have found that if you carry a bunch of water in the back it helps the equipment from freezing as water holds heat. Also how you setup the back can also make things easier or harder to heat. Best example I have, my new truck has hoses (High/low pressure), pump, filters, engines all at the front with the water tanks behind. I do have a side door and run everything out of there, but the small space makes it easier to heat and keep things from freezing, and need a smaller heater.

My big truck I setup for staying every night in the shop. Engine, burner and low pressure all up front, but the hoses are way at the back with the water tanks between them and the rest of the setup. Putting a heater up front is great, although most times it is not enough to keep the back hoses from freezing on cold nights. Not a concern for when I stay in the shop, although when I am outside for the night and it gets really cold my hoses freeze pretty quick. The box is insulated, but the back door is not in the greatest shape (Box cost $1200 put on the truck, that was it's biggest downfall)

I do use forced air kerosene heaters with thermostat when I have to keep trucks outside and it gets well below freezing. Just have to remember to not point them to close to anything that can melt.
