Burner does not shut off..HELP

Alright, changed out the pressure switch but now the burner won't fire at all. Has spark at the igniter and fuel in the tank and the only thing I did was put the new switch in. Any ideas why it won't fire now?

Double check the wiring, with a volt meter or just switch them and see if it works.

Pressure Switches

One of the annoying things about pressure switches..
Bean-counter manufacturers build them but chose not to standardize the industry for safety..
You can connect blue wire to blue, and so on.. and get a coil explosion, as easily as a No Fire at all.
So..
Read the switch terminals.. C = "common"
Use that, and the N.O. terminals "normally Open" = NOT on, until Seeing Pressure..
..a good thing.
Those are the terminals to use.
IF you are wiring into 3 conductor wire.. follow to the other end, away from the switch..

..It probably isn't connected,
..unless it is just a ground (chassis / frame,) NON-current-carrying connection.
Note: the context of the above instructions is of engine driven systems.
Electrically drive, is a different set of options..

..and has reason for the 3rd wire other than grounding.

When you receive a pressure switch, rewire it to match the system you own..
It will be easier to Get control, and the rapid elimination of downtime.

Check fuel pump, but sounds like fuel solenoid is not opening. If you know your way around a voltage meter this can easily be checked.
Bought a volt meter but not sure what to check. I did find that my new connections I made for the new switch were good. Sorry about not being real smart with this stuff, I like to wash.

Do it Y'er Selfers rarely "know everything" ..that's why most are wasteful of time.
When you need a technical guy.. I am glad to help..
We'll train you for some basic troublehooting,
..and I especially try to help you keep focused on cleaning. :{)

Fixed it!!!!!! A little help from Sam Adams (he's a good guy) and a little advice from the local repair shop, I took the micro switch out of the old switch and put it in the new housing and it worked!! Apparently the plunger in the old switch was bad and the micro switch in the new one was bad so we put them together and got a good full setup. So pumped!! Both machines up and running once again, time to make some money!! Thank you all for your help!
