The Mid Atlantic Show sponsered By Southside is coming up soon. Less then a week left to get those questions over to me so we can have Answers ready for you. You know those kind of questions "That Your To Embarrassed To Ask" in front of other contractors because the answer may be something simple that other people may think " Damn it Must Be This Guys First Day Washing". We have all been there including myself. Im going into year 15 and I still wonder about things I could be doing easier and more efficient.
All questions and comments can be emailed to me at midatlanticpower@aol.com or feel free to give me a call or text on my cell at (443)336-4322. There will also be a drop box at the show that you can write your questions down and have them answered before you leave. This is the place and time to kick back and take in as much as you can. There will be Experts all around that are here to help. Once again the audience will not know who the questions come from so dont " Be To Embarrassed To Ask"
Thanks

What chemicals are a must to carry and have on the truck at all times to do test spots ? So I don't have to post stupid photos all the time and not learn for myself to what works on what surface .

You can do it here but that would defeat the purpose of the embarassing question that your afraid to raise your hand in front of everyone else and ask. It doesnt matter to me either way. Just seeing if we can help a some people out. Jim Foley you have a good point. Something like what main chems should you keep with you at all times sounds like it would be a silly question but i bet there are many times that someone was out on a job and needed something different then what there used to. Would save you a trip and back and ultimately alot of money. Good question. I will work on that. There also will be a drop box at the Mid Atlantic Show this weekend in Baltimore for people to drop these questions in to. Anonymously of Course

I don't feel too embarrassed asking this, but it is a newbie question. What actually goes on when a pressure washer is started with trigger off, or ball valve closed? I'm asking in terms of whats going on with the unloader, and pump pressures, things being over worked etc. I had hard time searching on this one.

Going to be greedy with the basics here and go for a 2nd one. Going to set my first unloader myself, and did read what Ralph had said here http://www.propowerwash.com/board/u...ader-correctly&p=361520&viewfull=1#post361520 I figure that sums it up, just was wondering if there was anything extra I could mess up or to avoid, haha.

Oh something like that is fine. I'm just glad it wasn't one of the - "I sold this job so what do you think I should use to clean it?"

I'm putting in a bid next week to clean the superdome, any suggestions on pricing?

Were does the gas go?

Here are some that get asked over and over and over and over and over:

I just won this job, what machine do i need to purchase, I only have $150 and I need to get a trailer, pressure washer, good chemicals and need to have someone train me how to do the job fast by tomorrow?

I am cleaning this job but the home depot and lowe's chemicals are not cleaning the concrete, what do I need to use on this?

I won this parking garage job to clean the concrete and oil stains but the bleach is not cleaning it and I told them the 200,000sq.ft. garage would be cleaned by tomorrow nite, what do I need to buy to get it clean, it has to be local but I live out in the sticks?

I bought this rig on sale at northern tool and it works great but I want to get more pressure and volume out of it, the salesman told me to just adjust some knobs and it will be a "commercial beast" and I might not be able to control it so it is best to keep the settings where they are at. I need it to work faster, what should I do as this is a top of the line commercial unit?

I got this commercial surface cleaner at northern tool and it just fell apart, it is the 2nd one that I purchased already and the salesman told me that I am just too rough with it as it is made to be indestructible so I must be doing something wrong, what should I do?

I will type more later on.
