It doesn't need to be mounted on the base,...remember what it's doing is allowing you to release the trigger and send the water flow into the bypass,..doesn't really matter where that happens,..as long as it's in between the pump and discharge hose.

Mounting the unloader on the pump will be a problem waiting to happen,..although it can be done,...at some point something is going to give and start leaking,..usually the nipple that connects the unloader to the pump. If you do go that route,..a hydraulic fitting connecting them is best used,..and can be changed on a regular basis without much effort.

Horror Freight has a huge distribution facility down I-95 near Florence S.C. about an hour from me.....wonder if they have these engines there? Are the engine mount holes the same for the Honda GX motors? You can buy the frames pre-drilled from pressure pro or water cannon.

All the mounts are universal, and it fit right on the base Russ sent me. Everything fit like a glove.
The engines are made to order and it took two months to get it. don't know if they make them here or china, but it seems solid and started right up when I tested it.
