Alot of people have been talking about the predator engine as an affordable backup machine. I think i am the first one to get it put together so figured i'd post a preliminary video of it in action. If anyone wants any other info/pics/videos of the machine just let me know.

22 HP Predator, 10 GPM 2500 PSI Udor pump surface cleaning non pre-treated concrete with cold water. Wanted to test its cleaning capability without pre treatment.

Jeff do you have any pictures of the unit itself? Is it beltdrive or direct.I'm looking at adding a second machine to the new trailer I am building now.

Very cool, nice video! Thats video proof right there it gets it done well. I have some buddies that won't buy a thing from harbor freight, and I look at it as their loss. They have quite a few turd items there, but if ya know what to look for and read reviews, can save some money and get good stuff. Their marine heat shrink runs circles around depot and lowes in my area, and is about 20x cheaper.

I think it's a little early to proclaim success. I know I'll be keeping my pressure pro unit on my truck, just in case.

As stated above there is between 5 and 10 lbs of ankle weights wrapped around the swivel of the classic (hence you see no green swivel). It still has enough lift that i can guide it to hover up stairs to a patio with minimal effort. Before adding the second ankle weight the classic took off higher then the wifes head. Tethered drone is right Ted!

Looks great Jeff. Where did you get your Udor pump? I've never owned one but really want to try one and have been looking into them lately.

Both Russ Johnson and Paul/Bill sell the Udor GKC gear drive pump combo units. Can't go wrong using either of them

Hey Ralph,...The unloader block/unloader can be mounted pretty much anywhere between the outlet of the pump and the discharge hose. It doesn't need to be mounted on the base,...remember what it's doing is allowing you to release the trigger and send the water flow into the bypass,..doesn't really matter where that happens,..as long as it's in between the pump and discharge hose.

Mounting the unloader on the pump will be a problem waiting to happen,..although it can be done,...at some point something is going to give and start leaking,..usually the nipple that connects the unloader to the pump. If you do go that route,..a hydraulic fitting connecting them is best used,..and can be changed on a regular basis without much effort.

Jeff
