GPS Tracking

I have now moved into a position that I need to add GPS tracking to keep up with everything. I will be needing to outfit 7-8 trucks with a GPS tracking device and wondered whats the most efficient, cost effective system out there now days.

Most of them are pretty much the same. I have been installing them for 15 years with my other company. We mostly install AiriQ devices with no issues. The big difference in service will be do you want live tracking or update tracking. Live will show your asset moving in real time, and thats more money per month. Update tracking will give you a location upon request and it's a static position that will say if it's going a mph or not but won't show it moving. Those are cheaper per month.

I have two different versions. Both involve live tracking. One plugs into the OBD port of the truck, and is easily installed. It is also easily removed, but I haven't had to fire anyone for that, yet. IT is about $25 a month.
The other is tied into the camera system on my trucks. Because of what we do, I am able to record a full days labor, view live online at anytime, and generally monitor and be a nanny to my guys, whenever I feel like it. It has proved expensive, but advantageous. It costs me an exorbitant amount for the time we really use it, but in reality, I have found it worthwhile. It does drive me absolutely nuts when it fails at an inopportune time. I have had that happen. It is also helpful when someone calls in on one of my guys to complain, and we are able tow quickly observe the interaction to see if our guy was behaving inappropriately. Just for grins and giggles, I think that out of hundreds of calls, there was only one time that our guy was in the wrong. The rest were just people trying to cause problems for whatever reason.

Scott will we have one of these at the Phx event?

I will look into this after christmas on which system to go with. I don't really care about live info as its more about tracking MPH, and location times for me. I want to know how fast they are driving and how long they are at each stop.

Choose the right business bank. When you’re choosing a business bank, size matters. Marcus Anwar, co-founder of OhMy Canada , recommends smaller community banks because they are in tune with the local market conditions and will work with you based on your overall business profile and character. “They’re unlike big banks that look at your credit score and will be more selective to loan money to small businesses,” Anwar said. “Not only that, but small banks want to build a personal relationship with you and ultimately help you https://mlsdev.com/blog/120-how-to-build-a-good-dating-app if you run into problems and miss a payment. Another good thing about smaller banks is that decisions are made at the branch level, which can be much quicker than big banks, where decisions are made at a higher level.”
