Free Roof Cleaning SEO Help Group

Apple Roof Cleaning

Roof Cleaning Instructor
The winter is the time for all roof cleaners to work on the SEO of their websites. One way we do this, is to provide relevant links to our websites from places that Google trusts. Google created Google Groups, and so it trusts them! Unlike Facebook Groups, these Google Groups are wide open to the Google Crawlers. I have created a Google Group, dedicated to only roof cleaning. This is an excellent (and free) way for you to give your website some valuable backlinks. Plus, many of us roof cleaners have found that sometimes the posts we make here, find their way into our local search results! Only post roof cleaning related content here, or I will delete the post. Most of us will give a Google +1 to all your posts here, as long as you reciprocate, and +1 your fellow roof cleaners posts as well. Here is the link to the Google+ Roof Cleaning Group https://plus.google.com/communities/110709238575550431248

Looks like it will be a great group.

Looks like it will be a great group.
I just approved you Chris, it is nearly 4 am here in Tampa, can't sleep, too much College Football excitement today!
I suggest every time you do a roof cleaning job, to make a post, linking back to yur website.
Give other members a Google +1 on their posts, and they will do the same for you.

This group is quite established, we have 256 members!
However, some were unaware a roof cleaning SEO group was around, so I posted this on Facebook, here, and on TGS, as well on both the RCIA Forums today.
I was surprised, cause we gained 14 new members already!

You can make a post Chris titled "roof cleaning corpus christy texas" for instance, and then tell about how you offer a non pressure roof cleaning system in the corpus christ tx area.
Be sure and place a link to your websites roof cleaning page, so you get credit for a relevant backlink, that will help your SEO.

The more text you place in your post, the better your chances are of Google indexing the post, of course.

Most members here don't know it, but you can build a stronger back link here by adding friends to your profile. You can also make a stronger back link by starting and joining groups here at PWI. It's one of the great fetcher that V Bulletin and PWI has to offer.

Thanks Chris.

Did not know that, interesting

Wow Art that is interesting. PWI has been great for SEO on my site. Chris gave me some info a few weeks back and I put it to use. I added a few pages specific to certain areas in my sig. It took about three weeks but I'm wavering on page 1 and 2 on both pages now. Got to thank Ron for PWI. Not only do I learn stuff everyday, it also helps me get work. Also have to thank Chris Tucker. He does all the leg work and shares what he learns, in this day and age that's amazing.

It is because of grateful people like you that I do all I do Ralph.
Google has "gotten picky" about rewarding backlinks, since the Panda and Penguin Updates. Google now wants your backlinks to be RELATED to what you do. IOW, if you are a primarily a Pressure Washer, then you want to post and have a signature link on a forum related to Pressure Washing, like PWI, The Grime Scene, or Pressure Washing Resource Association Forums.

If your primary business is cleaning windows, a dedicated window cleaning forum is best for you.

And, if your business is mainly cleaning roofs, you want to be posting on either or both of the Roof Cleaning Institute Forums, or a Google + Group dedicated to cleaning roofs.

Wow, since I started this thread, we have had 24 new Google + Roof Cleaning Group members, in only 2 days. I thought everyone already knew that there was a roof cleaning SEO Group I made to help everyone. Here are some suggestions to get the Most SEO for yourselves, out of this Google+ Roof Cleaning Group.
Try not to just make a post called "Roof Cleaning Tampa" for instance, and only post a few pictures and a link to your website. Since the Google Penguin and Panda updates, they have gotten a lot more fussy about what content they will Index, and reward your company a good backlink for. Try to post at least a paragraph or 2 of text, so here is an example.
Title of post is - Roof Cleaning Tampa FL.
Here is a shingle roof we cleaned last week up in the Carrollwood section of Tampa. This customer is a repeat customer, we cleaned his shingle roof nearly 6 years ago. He got another letter from his Homeowners Association to get his roof cleaned again. He said he remembered us, because of the great job we did for him years ago. My Son and I really like this customer, because he is an avid fisherman, like we are. He shared some great fishing holes in Tampa Bay with us, and we shared some of our secret spots with him. His shingle roof is under a lot of oak trees, and we had to be sure and blow all the debris from the trees off his roof, before we started the non pressure cleaning. His neighbor had his shingle roof pressure washed, and it was ruined. We never ever use any pressure washing to clean any roof in Tampa.
As you can see from the pictures, this shingle roof came out looking like new and our customer was very happy. If you live up in Carrollwood, or anywhere in the greater Tampa Florida area, call us at 813-655-8777 for a free, no obligation roof cleaning estimate.

This is an example of how to beat use the Google + Roof Cleaning Group I made for you guys, for best SEO and backlinks.
Now, if any Group Member sees a post like this, it is very helpful to comment on it! All it takes is a short comment like "Wow Chris, I have been to Tampa before, and know where the Carrollwood subdivision is. That shingle roof you cleaned came out awesome"

Then, another Group member might come into the thread, and say "You guys do great shingle roof cleaning work in Tampa" for instance.

Remember, the more comments your post gets the better, as far as SEO is concerned, and it also loks great when one of your potential customers sees your post in a search, with other roof cleaning professionals praising your work!

Every post in the Google + Roof Cleaning Group has a Google +1 button, and we all need to give each others posts as many +1's as possible! Google see's +1's as a "vote of confidence" for that post, and will reward posts and threads with many +1 votes with the best SEO.

Also, you can use the Google + Roof Cleaning Group to provide backlinks, and better SEO, for your roof cleaning video's as well, and you should also make a post with your Google + Local Business Profile Page in it.

Thanks for making this group!
You are welcome Ben. I have been training roof cleaners longer then anyone else, and I take a "holistic" approach to it. It is not enough to simply teach someone to clean roofs, or sell them equipment, and then expect them to succeed. W/O having roof cleaning work, they will fail, and what better way to get roof cleaning work, then to have a website that ranks highly ?
Facebook Groups are kind of OK for asking roof cleaning questions, but they downright suck for SEO, because they are almost all closed to search engines, and even the ones that are open suck, because they are NO FOLLOW.
The Google + Roof Cleaning Group I made for everyone is a DO FOLLOW, open to search engines group.
Plus, it is free for all roof cleaners, to make promotional posts on.
Because it is a DO FOLLOW, targeted to roof cleaning ONLY Group, it can help provide some valuable "Link Juice" for any roof cleaners website.

Plus, some of the promotional posts made in the group are starting to show up in local search results, if worded correctly, with enough supporting text for the keyword targets.

You can not expect a promotional post that simply says "Roof Cleaning Seattle Washington" with a few pictures, and a link to your website to crack your local search results.

But, if you write a few paragraphs of text or more, that gives any post you make in the Google+ Roof Cleaning Group that "ammunition" it needs to get Google's attention.

As always, fresh CONTENT, and plenty of it, is still King, when it comes to SEO these days.

Thanks Chris for all that great info. You addressed many areas I am not familiar with.

My focus this year will be mostly roof cleaning in Bluffton, SC (near Hilton Head).

Up till now, my website hasn't been very helpful. I'm sure I can fix that.
