Need some pointers with Panel Brite

Hey guys just landed our first account cleaning mini busses and have a meeting this week for another account. I have 2 5 ga kits of Panel Brite from Russ I want to use and practice with on our company vans. I would appreciate any helpful advice for things to be careful with. I am using our hydrotek 8 pgm with heat. I am planning on downstreaming with a 2 gpm pump. Fortunately I have known the owner for years and she is not picky. Will vinyl fade using the panel brite or is it fine?

Thanks guys

Russ mentioned to you on facebook to keep it about 30:1 I would not apply it stronger than that.

Are you saying that you are using a 2gpm pressure washer to downstream? I am confused with your sentence.

I would keep it simple and downstream with the 8gpm machine and rinse with the 8gpm machine. You might need to do some brushing on the first wash if they have not been maintained regularly.

You need to do a test and see what ratio your injector is pulling, don't rely on what the manufacturer or sales rep tells you as there are many variables that will affect the ratio.

Get a 2 quart or larger measuring pitcher and fill it then with your injector rigged up, injector hose in the picture full of water and soap nozzle on the end of the wand, pull the trigger and start a stop watch or look at your watch and count out a minute and then let go of the trigger.

See how low the water went and subtract that from full and let us know how much water it pulled so we can help you with the math so you will know your ratio.

After that we can help you determine the best way to keep your ratio at about 30:1 so you don't apply the Panel Brite too strong on the vehicles.

Let us know the amount of water you end up with when doing the test so we can help you.

Thanks Chris,
The way I worded my initial post was clumsy. I did just what you mentioned. I Double checked the pull on the injector and back figured my mix. I shot a few of our own fleet vehicles and they turned out great. I was really impressed by how much brighter they were than using our old soap and suds method! The wheels and rims looked good. Looking forward to shooting my first fleet on Friday. I have two more requests for quotes so it is a promising start to Spring. I did notice I had a little bit of soap residue on the windshield of my vehicle. I'll be more thorough on the rinse on Friday.
I will post a few before and afters. Thanks for the help.

Hey Mike, how's the winter treating you? The frozen nights made our night work really rough. I'm glad to see this weather starting to break!
