Commercial Paint Stripping application question

Alright folks I have a question and am looking for suggestions. Here is the situation: Have been given the task of pricing out applying paint stripper to the outside of a Sam's Club size building (the building is concrete block and split faced block painted with failing latex) and then washing it all off to reveal as close to bare concrete as possible. The painter has a product which they say works great but am looking for a faster way to apply it than an airless sprayer. I am assuming the stripper is pretty thick as it will need to adhere to the vertical surface for a fairly long dwell time as directions state let it sit overnight. Would I be crazy to think that a 12V pump would apply the product with a wide fan or do those pumps not work great with thick liquids? I have never used a 12V pump but have been thinking about getting one to make washing roofs easier. Suggestions needed. Thanks all!

sounds like a toxic product-like peel away

If you use through a sprayer its going to probably eat it up

Not thinking a 12V would handle it well

How big is the area??..id roll it

Above is the website which says it is non-toxic and "Eco Friendly". Area is way to big to roll as it is the size of a Walmart and the whole exterior. The painter was thinking of using an airless sprayer with a large tip.

Depending on how many layers of paint are on the siding, Smart Strip Pro should work. Although, I'm doubtful that it's the best product for your application. It's an expensive product and due to how thick you'll need to apply it I can't imagine that it would be cost effective on such a large project.

One thing I found is that it's helpful to cover the surface in painters plastic after you've applied the smart strip pro. This way it won't dry out on the surface. Do a search on the Painttalk forum cause you'll find some good info about smart there.

Hopefully that helps.
