Quick Books

Quick books online. I love it, three or four people can access it at a time, and I don't have to worry a output backups.

Square for me also. Next day and 2.7% isn't horrible.

I use square as well for my CC transaction, and I've been using square invoice for when I can't meet in person. Great part with square invoice is cash and check payments there is no charge.

TD bank tried getting me to get their card reader really bad, and beings they are very secretive about it is what made me turn it down. There's no place to get feedback or reviews or anything, even TD barely has info about it. In the off chance has anyone used TD's merchant services?

Vince, is there a way to incorporate square into that program. Do you have a link to square on the invoice or something?

I'm not sure if there is or not Ralph. I know you can do a lot with the program. If I run a credit card on site then I give them a crash copy invoice and e-mail or mail out a formal invoice when I get home. I only use the basic features on that program, you can do all sorts of things with it.

New guy...jumping into an old thread! (sorry) I use Quickbooks online for my guitar repair business and plan to use it for the pressure washing business as well. I have used the Square swiper, the Paypal swiper, and landed on the Intuit one. The Paypal one is best because the money is available immediately, but over all I decided on Intuit because of the option of online payments and the money applies directly to the invoices. I create the invoice, send it to the customer, and they can pay from their computer or phone...or pay me in person with the swiper. New RMA standards took effect in October of last year, but nobody is manufacturing the swipers yet. My new RMA reader (chip card) is supposed to be released in March. Right now my plan is to use Quickbooks and integrate with a scheduling software like Jobber.

Square does the invoices with paying online also. The money goes into your account the next day as opposed to quickbooks, which takes three days.

It does, but Quickbooks also does payroll, P&L, tax reporting, etc...and is the software my accountant (and most accountants) use, so for me it was the right choice. I tried all three. I haven't tried syncing square with Quickbooks, but I know some do that.

Quickbooks online is only one company per fee and no sales orders is what killed it for me. Walmart up here requires sales orders before I can send the invoice and I didn't want to input all the trailer and truck numbers multiple times twice to accommodate the online version.
