Oh Hell No! This is a junkyard pump, 1/2 Kynar that is Black, and 1/2 Poly, that is white! All this might be good for is spare parts, but I still will not pay 125.00 for it

Thanks for the heads up Chris. I broke down and bought a Fat Boy and 1/2" kuri tec last week. It was delivered today so tomorrow I'll put it together. My tool dreams were getting larger than my wallet. Chris, should i add a Delevan 5800 along with the Fat Boy as a back up and for smaller roofs like mobile homes? From what i'm reading runoff with the FB can be an issue. So I'm thinking a 5800's lower gpm may be better in those situations. Thanks again Chris your video's really help us new guys. Joe

Any time you run ANY 12 volt roof cleaning pump, a backup pump is a great idea. Yes, the 5800 has less flow, and far less run off.

I'll order the 5800 tonight. Can't complain about the cost. So there's discussion about Bob at PT tuning these pumps before sending them out. Is there something I should work on before hand? Only thing I see is the pressure screw for adjustments.

Most likely Bob makes sure the pumps are set at the correct pressure, because they can vary widely, from pump to pump.

Thank Chris. Has your summer afternoon rain started yet? Think ours has arrived. 2 weeks pretty consistently. Nasty storms also.
