A fence question

When cleaning a fence, is there a problem with the back side of the fence (that you are not cleaning) being effected by the cleaning fluid going through the cracks in the fence and streaking the back side. If so, what do you do about it?

If you are spraying the right amount of cleaner it's generally not an issue. What to watch for would be plants on the other side of the fence. Tarp over the back side of the fence in front of plants.
Before you start the job go knock on the neighbors door, explain what you're doing and try to sell the other side while you're there. If they're "on the fence" about doing it or not tell them to come over after you start and see the difference.

Neighbors can be a nightmare. I had one guy go up on his roof an ogle me the whole time. The minute a drop of overspray went on his property he began yelling at me. At one point he told me I couldn't clean the fence because I was getting water in his yard. Told the customer and she came back a minute later and said don't listen to him. I didn't, got paid and she moved.

Nice tip on selling the other side, and the come check out the work while its getting done !

I have to rewire my brain from worker to seller as well, and keep things like this in mind.
