Thumbs up The Pressure Washer's Guidbook is here!!! 577 pages of information!

Not sure if this is the right location or not, but here goes.

FACT: Did you know that there are 500 sheets of paper in one ream? What does this mean? Why is it relevant? Well, the newest, biggest, most comprehensive book… Cleaner Times’ Pressure Washer’s Guidebook is 577 pages long! That’s HUGE! It’s BIGGER than a ream of paper folks! And if a ream of paper costs about $6.00 blank then just consider the bargain here! This book is just $149.95 plus shipping! So, all of these fine people, authors and editors alike, worked HARD on this book, and suffered collectively more paper cuts, staple accidents, writers block, headaches and hand cramps than at any other time in pressure washing history. They even worked through power outages writing by candlelight scribbling on paper with pencils, crayons and using pens until they were out of ink. If you think about the many, many, many months’ worth of efforts of them all, the price of $149.95 plus shipping seems like a bargain doesn’t it? ‪#‎thisbookishuge‬

Not at this time, no, but I mentioned it on the last call with Cleaner Times. I do not know if they will do that however.

That seems sort of silly considering the times. I can only guess that is because they (the other/owner of the information) doesn't know how to securely distribute an electronic version.

The magazine is available electronically. As I said, I simply do not know if they plan to do it for the book at this time.

Wait, is this a spoof post? I mean seeing that many of our top level members here are banned on your forum I find it odd that you would use this forum to promote your product.

    Seriously- 577 pages??

Is there alot of double & triple spacing or pics here??

My advice to anyone out there is you can get the majority of everything you need for your PW business regarding applications/equipment & business practices right here on this forum for FREE

Any newbie or anyone else searching for answers can research right here or call the many experienced Pressure washing experts affiliated with this forum and the UAMCC

    Just my opinion

I think this should be in the vendor section as there are sites out there that seriously get their panties in huge wads if someone posts something for sale in the wrong section or is accused of being a vendor and silly things like that.

I smell something and it is not flowers.

$20 is a fair price IMO. $150? No way I can justify spending that on a guide that I can't even preview, and I can get most (if not all) of the info elsewhere.

Does anyone who purchased this have a review? I have not read it but I like the idea of having everything in one place.

I wrote a chapter for this book... I've still to see the final result, waiting on them providing me with a proof.

Buy it or don't buy it, but I'm sure it will be a good resource for many people.

I have not read or seen the book, but I am sure if Cleaner Times put this together, there must be a ton of great material in this book. My guess is the people that have contributed to it are all very knowledgeable and experienced. I was asked a couple years ago to contribute, but felt I did not have the time to contribute and referred some other's in the industry that I though more suitable for an endeavor like this.

Yes, there is very valuable information on PWI and many other forums that can be had for free. But for $150.00 many will find this a valuable resource, especially maybe those starting out. To me, for those just starting out this may be THE BEST investment they could ever make.

Please let's not let personal differences with people get in the way of someone learning something that could help someone as they start up or improve their business. As I said, I have never read or seen it, but I now know of two contributors to the book, Beth Borego and Steve Button. You can't tell me that we can't all learn something from the both of them.

We all talk about increasing the education and professionalism of our industry...well I would think this can only help.

I will certainly order one myself, not to critique, but to see if I can learn from it myself. I know I did in there last editions of Guidebook.

One last thing, as far as I know, Beth doesn't work for Cleaner Times, and if she does I could care less,.. She is simply sharing a resource that she is aware of. We all do that.

Thanks Beth of sharing, and good to see you here.

I think this is a steal if it has cleaning formulas that will help you perform your job better.Heck most formulas are not cheap heck an raw materials are very cheap right now still due to a soft economy.

    Well said Doug,

I certainly don't know it all and find that you can teach an old dog new tricks. While I have no idea whats in this manual, I'm quite sure there is useful information in it that will more than make up for it's cost.

Thanks Doug for posting this. I was looking at the replies and was confused. Not sure what all the animosity is. Rod and Beth have been around helping people since I started frequenting these boards in the mid 90's. I am sure this book isn't spam. I feel like I am in that episode of star trek, where one of the guys was blue on the left side and one was blue on the right, they wanted to kill each other over it. Last I checked their equipment and techniques worked the same as ours.
