Vanguard 21hp engine locked up yesterday, need to look for another

Hello Guys, I was washing yesterday and my 11.5 year old 21hp Vanguard engine locked up.
I figured out what happened but need to find a new one soon, I can work without it as I have an old backup that I use on occasion but this engine that went bad is on my hot water Hotsy rig so it will need to be replaced soon.

I have found Smallenginewarehouse.com, brandnewengines.com and tulsaenginewarehouse.com but looking for other sites if you guys know of any.


Thanks for any suggestions on where to look for another engine.
 
I am wondering if there is a way that I could use the Hot water skid as a hot box to use with my other 5.5gpm Hydrotek somehow?

I am guessing that I would have to move the pressure switch over to the other machine, maybe possible and connect both machines to the battery but not sure what else would need to be done as I am sure the key switch on the Hotsy needs to be on for the burner to run and I am sure there are other things that I don't know about that will probably keep this from working as well.

Any idea if this could work until I get a new engine?

Hey Chris,..I ordered a 13HP Honda from Tulsa engines a few years ago and was very happy with the cost and service,..I think back then it was $595.00 and free shipping. The closest I could find local was around $800.00,...
Good service,..I questioned why they was so much cheaper,..the American speaking guy said,..he couldn't figure why everyone else is so expensive,Ha,Ha,..

I ordered my last engine GX630, from Bill at the PowerwashStore.com. Seems like good pricing to me.

Chris, it would take some major rewiring to make the Hotsy in to a hot box...best just bite the bullet and buy an engine.
