Hey Guy how is the inside of the tip machined? Just a straight smooth hole? Wonder if it can be machined like a rifle barrel. Would probably increase distance bigtime if it had that spiral cut which spins a bullet. Just a thought. First dibs

No the bore is smooth, but there are different ways to control the tightness of the pattern.

Sorry seems some guys are already experimenting with rifling.....or so I hear. I could be wrong but I feel rifling will reduce the hydraulic velocity of the water thus reducing distance.....plus it would cost quite a bit more to machine this......Great idea though.....I'd like to see one.

Guy is correct. Rifling the bore does not work. We tried it. It eliminates the tight water flow and mists out instantly.
