Wax grid removal from porcelain tile

I'm looking to buy some porcelain tile which has the bottom grid imprinted on its face. Believe it's a wax. The tile was stored outside and some how it was imprinted. It's a great deal for expensive tile I need. Any ideas how to remove or seen the markings?

if it is was try hot water low pressure other then that would not try any hard chemicales might take the finish off them.
