Loading dock lifts

OK, I have been doing this for some time and thought I had done just about every kind of cleaning until today. Have a prospectitve customer that has some loading dock lifts that need to be cleaned under. Has anyone here were done these. Im a little nervous as the customer says "we can lift them up and prop them open with something. Not sure how safe that is or if my work comp company and liability comp would like this??? I guess ill have a better idea when i go look but though maybe someone might have some insight. Thanks in advance.

Something like steel I beams.....maybe, anything else would be a potential disaster.

I went and looked at the project. Much less of a mess than I was thinking. There is just some bird crap, and feathers he wants cleaned out and no grease or oils etc. He doesn't even expect us to get to far back as space is limited and accessed only from front. We could do it without even going close to being under the lift so there would be no safety issue Now for a price. There are only four of them and most of the time will be tied up in waiting for someone on site to come and brace them up so we can clean. they are going to use a forklift to hold open once the air bags are inflated. No high pressure needed just some hot water at 9 GPM should do the trick.
