Brand new injector not working, thoughts?

Definitely pull out the orifice. Try a smaller one.

Nothing yet, was going to test but had to finish a job first so I could get paid and then spent the rest of the time trying to get my new trailer setup so I can actually use it.

Adam, This may sound stupid but I have to ask. When you say "All my injectors" does each injector have its own line or do you switch a different injector onto the same line? I have multiple injectors as well and each has its own dedicated line with filter strainer and check valve on the end.

If you are trying different injectors on the same line, Have you checked the line to make sure its not clogged or coming apart on the inside?

Another possibility could be if something has become trapped in your high pressure line. I purchased a new 150' hose and used it one day on a home wash. It worked flawlessly on the first job. The following day, Just as I started to wash that home, I suddenly lost pressure just as if someone turned the water off. I ended up finding a long narrow strip of plastic wrap(which I assume came from the hose manufacturer) bound up in my injector body.

If you do have a restriction on the inside of your high pressure hose, When you switch to pull chems., You may not have enough flow to engage the injector. Do you have a shorter(say 30' or 50') hose which you can connect just downstream of your injector to test with?

True about the injectors, same model of injector on same line. I did swap out my main hose for a brand new one in case it was the old hose. The strange thing is that I have the same problem on my other machine as well. I will check my line from the injector to the selector knob tomorrow and try a shorter hose too.

Did it come pre assembled with quick connects? I bought a couple like that one time, and realized plug and coupler had to be switched to opposite sides for the flow to be going through the injector in the right direction.

OK, so yesterday was maintenance day, change oil, clean out trucks and TEST THE STUPID INJECTOR!! GRRR. I put both injectors through multiple tests to eliminate everything. A little irriatated since this summer I bought two of the Super Suds Suckers in SS thinking they would last longer than brass, they were $144 a piece. I know, I know too much money, they worked great for 2 weeks then same as ones above. So after eliminating every possible thing that could screw up an injector I dug through my old parts box and tool box and found two old injectors, added quick connects and installed them. They worked beautifully, not saying that today when I go to use them they won't have the same problem as the brand new ones but hey, it's a start.

It seems that the ceramic ball would keep getting stuck against the O-ring even though the o-ring was brand new and not deformed, it seemed to be suctioned there. Even a little difficult to get it out when banging it on metal to loosen its grip on the o-ring. Not sure what caused this, if it is new specs they have for their injectors, new manufacturer, or something else but all problems started this spring when I replaced both injectors that had bad o-rings (deformed from lots of use) with new injectors. That is all I can think of. Calling them up today and asking to return all old injectors. Thanks all for your insight and it looks like I'll be calling The Power Wash Store for my next injectors! Is your unloader adjusted correctly? Thats why my SSS went down. The pressure spike sent the ball into the oring and it got stuck.

Triple checked flow direction and always installed with flow going correct way.
