So I am just getting started and dont know what to use when spraying down a house with soap. I had my chemical injector directly into a pool store bought jug of chlorine. I am very glad I started with my own house before going around cleaning others. I now get to stain my door and rustoleum my security screen door.

I need a formula that is far less runny allowing it to stay on the surface of house or eves of roof longer. Also something I can mix that wont have me scared I am going to bleach out everything around me.

I will be using a 5 gal bucket going forward (unless there is a better suggestion) and will mix in there.

Your feedback would be awesome

God Bless

Well, start reading because there is much for you to learn. But, I'll throw you a bone,...Believe it or not,..but you can actually mix snot and bleach together,...the mix ratio(s) are all over this board for free,..other than the time it takes to look them up. By scouring the site,..you'll get lots of answers to questions you don't even have yet.

Ben, keep in ind there are a few different cleaners we use,...for things like rust, gutter streaks, wood etc... Tell us what machine you're using and your setup in general. A surface cleaner is something to think about, but they are GPM specific.

You down streamed and stripped paint off your door and damaged the hardware????? With store bought bleach???? What machine are you using that dispenses store bought bleach this strong?

I knew a tongue lashing was forthcoming.....

I have a 4k beltdrive (I believe 3.5 gpm, have to double check) I had my chemical injector directly into a pool store bought jug of chlorine.
I was talking with a friend in the business where he advised using a 5 gal. bucket, pour chlorine directly in there and add some Dawn soap to give it some foaming action. And of course told me to stay the he** away from stained doors, presoak with water around me and rinse around me when done. I will see how that works.

I have a pretty good surface cleaner, too

Thanks Jeff and Doug

Thank you, Josh! It seemed strong.... it is supposed to be diluting somewhere between 10:1 and 20:1. Is that enough or should I just premix a 5 gallon bucket of pool chlorine water and dawn?

I'd probably try mixing 3 gallons of SH to 2 gallons of water first before downstreaming. If you need it a little stronger you can add more SH. If you use a soap that boosts the strength of the SH, like Bleach Plus or Green Wash, you can dilute even further though. And it will rinse easier, and leave windows shiny. Seriously, dish soap is not the best option. It works in a pinch though. Add some rinse aid (like Jet Dry) to the mix if you are going to use Dawn though. It will help.

F9 for exposed aggregate?

Would F9 work just as good for an exposed aggregate driveway? Any harm to rock coloration that would ensue? Same dilution rate?
Inquiring minds want to know....
