    New Softwash Proportioner

Switch solution ratios on the fly from roof to house to deck to concrete.... Never make another mix again and add as much or as little soap as you need on the fly... I'm not sure how many of you have heard about the new Softwashing Proportioner that was introduced at the Charleston UAMCC convention. Paul at the powerwashstore.com introduced and demoed the revolutionary Softwash Proportioner to the amazement of many who attended! All you need is a pump, water tank, SH tank and a soap source (jug or tank). Adjust dials and start spraying! No more batching, save time and increase production.

Yes, he is adding finishing touches to it (stickers/logos) before putting pictures and demo videos up. This just came to market although it has been tested and used dependably for over 3 yrs.

It is a stainless steel custom mountable box that you simply add to your set up. No need for a whole new rig, plumb 1/2" hoses to your tanks and start spraying. This is the demo unit, all others have a door, indication stickers and logos.

It has many awesome features and capabilities. One is that you can mark your solutions with a soap bump. When you are finishing up one surface and you want to switch ratios to the next you simply turn soap dial up, adjust SH dial to new concentration, spray for 3-5 seconds, then turn soap back to standard setting. When the soap burst gets to your nozzle you know everything after that is your new mix!

I like the idea,...Tim,..have you been running 12.5% through this thing for 3 years? Anyway to see the workings of the 12.5% valve? (At least where it connects). Any other pictures of the three year old unit would be appreciated. Is the 12.5% valve being rinsed at the end of the day,...I would anyhow,..just because I believe in rinsing everything.

    Thank You,
    Jeff

Is this only for 12 volt pumps?

Can you use this for downstreaming like for house washing?

In the video Paul says it can be used with 12 volt or air diaphragm. Any pump that does not bypass back to a tank. This will save me a lot of time and money from mixing roof mix. It eliminates the guess work of how large of s batch to mix, and having pre mixed chemicals left over. Adjust the strength of the mix as you go if, say 40% seems too hot, or say 30% isn't cleaning well enough. I can't wait to try this next year.

I have a 3way on my SH intake with one side going SH and the other to a separate water intake. I always flush it at the end of the day. My unit is the actually the prototype and is not nearly as nice as the one on the market. After many different designs that didn't really stray from the basic design much, I built the one that is now on the market to be bullet proof. The design is not cheap to build, but you won't ever need another one. The valves are very, very well built and with a daily flush will last and last. The system utilizes multiple hastelloy springs. The spring on the SH is the only spring that will require maintenance, we recommend replacing every 6 months. Springs and valve rebuild kits are available at the powerwashstore. I upgraded my system to the hastelloy spring and started flushing almost a year ago and I'm still on that original spring. I was using a SS spring and not flushing and I was replacing the SH spring every 3-4 months. If you have been in the business long enough you know how SH can wear down most anything, I built this Proportioner with that in mind.

We are working on a smaller version for down streaming, but this is set up for Softwashing with non-recirculating pumps. 12v, air diaphragm and 110v boosters have all been used perfectly with the Proportioner. I currently use a booster pump with mine. There is simply to much volume involved for a Venturi system currently.
