I neex a variable wand. What brand do you like and what nozzles? Im not very familiar with them. Going to focus on flat work. 8gpm and 12gpm machines. Thanks guys

Over the years I've tried almost variable wand out there on the market. 1 of the places here locally is PSI in Garden Grove, CA has the best variable wands that I know of. The other wands always have the O-Rings in the handle go out. I've been using the same wand for over 2 years with a problem. They run about $100 though versus the normal $60. I'm sure they can ship to Florida. I don't know the brand name but they do last. As for tips I replace them about every 50-75 hours. I just order them from Paul, Bob or Russ when I'm ordering other parts and get whatever they have.

Vince, pm the info and source please. I would like one that lasts more than a couple months before it starts leaking.

I have tried the Suttner, General and a couple other brands and none of them seem to last long before leaking.

Thanks.

Thanks Vince, that is a catalog page, can you point out the one that you had good luck with?

On that page they have Suttner, Legacy, and several others, not sure which one you have had good luck with.

It's either the 1 from Mecline or Landa. If you call and talk to their parts guy it's the 1 they stock most of though. I'm sure he will get you the right one. Everytime I go in there they have at least 10 or 15 of them. I do know they run around $100 each though. Maybe the pricing will help him out also.

That nuts just make your own like i did 10 dollar ball valve with another tip an your done much much better an last for years.

Yes that works, but I have found in most situations, an adjustable want will give you better control and also prevent possible damage to your machine.

The ball valve is just as effective not sure how opening up to nozzels will damage your machine its the same as the dual lance the lance part on mine is just shorter.I will post some pics soon.I ordered one a long time ago an it was junk so i just made one for gum an decks an underneath porches it works great at getting low the pressure low when needed.

Just worries me that some guy's may crack the ball valve down to low and bog the engine down...if they don't know the sound the engine makes they won't know. With an adjustable you have water coming out of the chemical nozzle so no bogging the engine down.

I understand but this has two nozzels also water is coming from chemical nozzel yeah definatly get the cracking the main valve down that would cause major issues for sure.
