Hi all so I got a 8gpm water dragon cart in transit to me (can't wait feel like a little kid again, only used 4gpm ).

Anyways the way I will have to use it will require me to load it on my pickup only on the days I need it so i would prefer to use quick connects - is that OK for feeding the pump from the buffer tank ?

Cheap home Depot quick connects for and short 5-6feet 5/8 hose
Option 2- use a short piece of 3/4" rubber garden hose and just twist on like normal garden hose connection
Option 3 I see dultmaier sells Hansen ss 3/4 quick connects so would those be good for feeding and quick connecting ? Again would do one feed or 2 hoses feeding .

I'd go with some banjo clips over homedepot special. Dual feed your pump and NEVER use garden hose to feed a tank fed washer. It collapses in a heartbeat. Use a non collapsible hose like the blue or white spa hose from lowes or Home Depot.

First don't bother with the SS quick connects, just use aluminum camlocks way cheaper and will never rust.

Home depot/lowes not really a great place for hose or connections. Great in a pinch, but since you are setting this up do it right and find a good hose/couplings supplier in your area and get some good stuff. If you setup everything right and the start in will give you little to no problems and that means more work/less fixing being accomplished in the field.
