Unloader block?

Do you use QC'S on the unloader block or just thread the whip line? QC's on everything whips, block, unloader or keep it minimal?
As of today coming from the pump, male to hose qc- whip line swivel end threaded to unloader block- nipple to unloader.

I don;t have quick connects on anything other than the end of my wand, or from the hose to the gun. The idea of a QC on the unloader is so you can do a quick change out if it goes bad. They don't go bad often enough that the quick connect will work properly when it is time, so you end up fighting with the QC to remove it. I just use teflon tape, and hydraulic swivels so that I can speed it up that way. It works well for me.

I have never had a whip line from the pump to the block ever break. It is possible as whip lines are man made and everything can break, but since it never moves or gets pulled in may never wear out. QC's just mean o rings and more issues while threading it in means the issues are very minimal. I have done the qc solution in the past, but learned it was just a waste of qc's and time.

Scott do you have info on the swivels and where to buy? Part numbers? Seen mike k video on them they look really nice. I'm all back together again but would like that ease of taking it off just incase. I plumbed out of the back discharge port without much room. Used 1 qc from the pump to whip line. The whip i have doesn't even have 1 swivel end. Going to ask Bob if he has a straight ported block or just give him the idea. It may work better for some ppl.

Thats a good site. I may order a couple manifolds for my roof pumps for mixing different solutions. Cheaper than pvc and a lot neater
