bleach resistant trailer interior paint

Hey guys I was just wondering if you guys coat the floor and walls of your trailers? Also I am using SH (bleach) for some of our services and I was just wondering if anyone has found a paint or a way to treat the floor and walls of the trailer so SH will not ruin your trailer. Any thoughts or product referral would be great.
Thanks

None that i know of...if your using SH it's eventually gonna get to where you don't want it....you can slow it down by line x ing or epoxy coating it but eventually it's going to get to an unprotected area.

Yeah Ive talked to Chris and RCIA I know there are a few products out there and its not like I plan on spilling it all over my trailer however things happen. I am sure there are some products that can take some what of a beating but I am trying to go off products that have been tested in the field vs what they say on the box.
Thanks guys for the input

I purchased a "Rubber Queen" diamond pattern rubber mat for an extended full size van which covers the floor of my trailer and runs approx. 4" up the side. I positioned it so the edge at the back doors hangs over the metal cross member of the trailer floor so any spill can be rinsed out. The side walls are at your option.

The mat has protected my floor for the past 13 years now. I periodically lift the mat to inspect the trailer floor and the grey floor paint still looks new!

Make a fiberglass pan its actually very easy if a beautiful finish isn't required. 1/2-3/4" underlayment plywood, fiberglass mat and woving, MAS - West Systems or another marine grade epoxy. epoxy the plywood form then start laying fiberglass and wetting it out with epoxy. finish with a gel coat. West Systems sells a venturi generator ( 885 Vacuum Bagging Kit )$175.00 on amazon for compressors to vacuum bag, that makes it really nice. tell me how big of an area i WILL FIGURE THE MATERIALS AND COST FOR YOU. IF YOU HAVE A DECENT CFM AIR COMPRESSOR THAT VENTURI CAN MAKE FABRICATING VERY EASY IF FIBERGLASS, CARBON FIBER, KEVLAR OR OTHER COMPOSITES CAN BE USED. MY prosthetic leg socket is carbon fiber and fiberglass and strong as a moe foe, plus it looks cool. Theres a guy me sells good epoxy for around $40-$45 gal half the cost of west systems

I paint my trailer floor every year. The plywood floor is in excellent shape because of it. It's a cheap solution if you can find the time.

Underlayment 1/4" plywood cost about $12 per sheet. Its actually a very high quality ply basically marine grade and excepts epoxy and marine grade paint great. Awlgrip will hold up nice as a paint

Por 15 is a great product to coat anything metal with to prevent any corrosion an it will stop an prevent anymore damage once treated with this product.

Joe, you know how to make fiberglass molds? I want to make a shell for a 36" dual swivel surface cleaner.

How do you guys with vans get around bolting things down? I use plywood but I figure the bolt areas are always going to be penetration points for spills.

Hey guys thanks for all the suggestions. Our trailer is 7X14 enclosed but I found this product called G-floor Ill link it down below but its a .75mil solid rubber mat that's 7.5 by 16 and its pretty cheap like 160 bucks and its resistant to battery acid so I am sure SH would be fine. Here is the link to there website but you can find it WAY cheaper at Menards or online. https://www.gfloorgarage.com/coin-garage-floor-cover.html

Just update. We ended up painting the trailer and laying down a raised coin vinyl flooring that spans the size of the floor and about 8" up the wall, kind of giving it a rounded bottom, like a super wide tub lol. But it'll do. Cheaper, easy to clean, and looks great. Just some food for thought for anyone wanting to do the floor!

Hello, how'd that vinyl flooring solution work out for you? I'm trying to protect my enclosed trailer as well. Thanks!

Fantastic

Hey man we got it and its fantastic. We are in the process of building a new box truck rig and we used it again. What I like it its pretty cheap, and you can leave 12.5 % on it for a week and wipe it off and it still looks new.. Great product. We also get really good pricing on it. Let me know if you cant find it or if you need a price quote.
Thank s
