Hello all! Last year was our first year with having a website, it helped get more calls but it wasn't exactly what I wanted or thought I wanted. I have had another company make another site for a 30 day trial but still not sure it's what I think it should be. Now I am looking to you all who have a website that works and you like to critique my sites. Below I have posted links to both sites. First link is for the site I have been using for almost a year and the second site is the new site. Could you do me the favor and compare them? Tell me what you like or what you would change? Thanks a million!!

second site hands down, mainly because it is mobile friendly. The first site might not be shown in searches, or google puts a disclaimer that your site isn't mobile friendly right underneath it. I like the layout also. But I see that almost everyone has that same layout. I am learning on my site, and finding out more is not better. SEO people tell you to have at least 300 words, but my google analytics show that I have had more success with a simple landing page with less info on it. People search for something, they aren't interested in the history of pressure washing or your business. They are interested in what your company can do for them. I have all those fluff pages(about, home page etc...) Can't even tell you if anyone has actually visited those pages. I like doing my own site because I can test it with analytics and tweak it on the fly. I have more success with just a raw basic site that answers the searchers question and gets them to call.

I agree with Ty I would try a little something different for that big background image. Nice truck by the way.

I'm no expert because I leave this kind of stuff to people with way more knowledge than I do.....First I agree with Ty....second (to me) your logo & tab menu at the top are a tad too small, doesn't seem to fit quite right.....as always the phone number is too small and seems inconspicuous.....I see you have an estimate page on your old site....but not on your new one....Why? Make it easier for customers to contact you for service, get that estimate page/tab up there. Again while I'm no expert, I do know that content has a lot to do with favorable ranking....you really don't have that much, I'd get more on there for better ranking........You really want your site to "POP" it's good & better than your old one....but is missing something visually. You're ranking on the first page on google, so that's a plus, but you may want to get higher.......You're heading in the right direction for sure......Your website is the "Keystone" for marketing your business so make sure it's right........You Want It To "POP"

Yes second site for sure but needs a lot of attention to fine tune it.
Pictures, pictures and more pics of how good your team is at what they do.
I/2 way through a job picture is always awesome.
At first glance I thought you may also do removals based on looking at the background picture. It wasn't until I looked at the in focus picture below that it was the same image and was your truck. I agree with Ralph and get an "action shot" as the background image.
I would also change the 2 images under the words "Our Products". This is your home page and you may only have them for 5 seconds before they decide what type of work you will do based on how your website looks. These images need to be show casing the quality work you do pressure washing, after all, this is your home page and if the client is not impressed immeadiately, you may lose them to another website that they think will perform better pressure washing work. You need the wow factor with your images!
This theme of show casing how good you are has to continue all through your website.
You also need consistancy, by this I mean, marrying up "What We Clean" with maybe the 3 images down the bottom and then each image takes you to that part of your business for more detailed information about that service. So for snow removal off the roof work, the last image is perfect, but I was confused initially as all I saw was a site that from the images I wasn't 100% sure what you did. See some people are visual and will go straight for the pics, while others will go straight for the text. You need to make sure you clearly in 5 seconds, give that potential client enough clear information to be able to work out what your company does, and that you are experts at it!
I hope that helps, but websites will need to keep changing otherwise Google will lose interest in your site. Keep updating images, or adding blogs etc.
Good luck with it.
Here's an example of a during image that gets people saying wow because they can see the benefits of what we can do for them.
