4 nozzle spray bars

I saw that Power Wash Store has some good deals on 4 nozzle spray bars (whisper wash), it got me thinking....
  • all else being equal do those allow you to walk faster? Or, since each nozzle would have half the gpm compared to 2 nozzle spray bars, do you have to go the same speed?
  • can those be retrofitted onto a different brand of surface cleaner (specifically a 24" silver eagle whirlybird)
  • also, could a set up like that handle 11 gpm? I can't find what swivel silver eagle uses, but it seems alot of swivels are rated for max 10gpm.

Get the measurements of inside the deck, length of the spray bar, measure the middle of the nozzles to the end of the spray bar and what size the swivel is. I got the 24" whisper wash 4 nozzle spray bar for my 24" Steel Eagle. Steel Eagle uses 3/8" shaft for the swivel so it looks like a good fit. I would measure how high from the ground the nozzles are and from the top of the nozzle to the spray bar where the swivel threads in to make sure you don't need to use a spacer to move the swivel up or down. Hope this helps.

But what about the efficiency?? How is it??

I have the Whisper Wash Big Guy with the 4 bar and I just ordered 2 blank off nozzles to try it back as a 2 nozzle unit.
My way of thinking is that by getting double the amount of water through 2 jets will give me a deeper clean on mouldy surfaces.

We get moldy surfaces here! Sometimes the surface cleaner isnt enough and we have to wand!

We use a 4 nozzle bar and love it. A lot faster than just 2. But it does matter what type of machine you have. 8gpm or better.
