Composite deck spots and paver question

I have two questions:

I cleaned a composite deck (older type) and unveiled some spots (lighter colored than surrounds). These spots looks like something was splashed onto the deck and it ate into the texture very slightly. There is another area where the color and texture are similar but over the entire board (almost like high pressure was used and chewed off the surface slightly on those boards). We used a 4% SH/elemonator mix and low pressure clean. The spots also appear on a pool deck that we didn't touch (but harder to see since it hasn't been cleaned in awhile). The only guesses by the homeowner on what could have been spilled are marinade, sunscreen lotion, and wasp spray. I can't seem to post pictures, but does anyone have any advice based on the description?

2ndly, I'm bidding a concrete paver patio that had been previously sealed with Quikrete Wetlook High Gloss sealer. Still has a little shine to it. What's the best way to strip this and/or prep for a new coat? Do deck strippers work for pavers or will they adversely affect the color of the substrate?

Composite decks are junk to begin with. They aren't consistent when it comes to cleaning them,..you never know how they'll look. The worst thing for them in my experience is Sun exposure,..

Likely nothing that was spilled created the spots,..it's likely just the junky material changing with time.

I use a stronger mix on these than 4%,..I got tired of fooling around with these things so I go strong and rinse with 40 degree soap nozzle. They clean right up,..of mold. They can still look like poop. I know so many people who with they spent the money on these,..I tell them if they want to protect it,..put a roof over it,..that's about all that can be done.

I did a brown one several years ago that had big purple spots all over it,..it was just the material changing.

*I have seen some that are better than others,..still none look as good as wood. And take a much stronger mix to remove the mold than does wood.

It's amazing how many customers I run into that were sold a bill of goods and told by the company that sold them composite decking that the decking they spent all that money on will never get dirty and they will never have to clean or treat it.

Understood guys...anybody have advice on resealing pavers that had old wet look on them? I know the stuff that's solvent based can be reactivated but this is a water/acrylic formula.
