Which unit is better?

Using for both commercial and residential...
10 gpm 3000 psi, or 8 gpm 3500 psi.
Some of my parking lots are so big, i dont always bleach the whole thing unless its black. Is 3k psi enough on commercial after 250 ft of hose? Can i stay with 3/8 hose on 10 gpm?

If the 3000 psi 10 gpm machine is a GX 690 engine, the real pressure is about 2800 psi. With 250 feet of hose, you lose 1100 psi with a 3/8 inch hose so if you are happy with 1700 psi... 8 gpm @ 3500 psi, you lose 750 psi with 250 feet of hose, so you will be at around 2700- 2800 psi. If you are planning on commercial 8gpm @ 3500

Ralph, always coming through with the good stuff. 'preciate it

Yea russ is the man. Probably just getting the 8gpm to keep things simple and will fit nicely in my "all-in-one" commercial and residential trailer. 10gpm would be nice but I'll save that for a "concrete king" rig
