Opinions for pump

I am currently on the fence about my first softwash system. If you were going to set up a new system would you go with a Udor Zeta system or a 12 voult system. I look up reviews for the zeta pump on youtube and all there was were rebuilding the pump videos, but then I read about all the problems with 12 v systems too. Which direction would you go if you were to build a new system?

If I was "thinking" of purchasing my first dedicated pump system I'd go with a 12 volt system. Think of it like riding a bike with training wheels.......once you get used to controlling spray & runoff then take the training wheels off and move to a different system if you need to.

We've run 12v forever with no big issues.....we use ours more for transferring chem than anything else so 12v make more sense for us.

I'd agree Guy,..but controlling runoff is actually easier with an AODD system. You can run an air pump down to a trickle,..that can't really be done practically with 12V. I suppose with an accumulator tank,..but only for a certain amount of time. But,..either way,..they all work and you just have to pick one and use it.

Put enough surfactant in the mix an its running anywhere lol.I had the air pump switched over to the fatboy in a box havent looked back works great.I dont use it everyday but when i need it works great.I use the optima blue top battery keep it charged an it pups great .

Air. Air. And Air. No other type of pump has the range, flexibility or rebuildablity of air. No bypass valves, no flow limits, no relays or pressure switches. Add fuel, Fire up the compressor, flip the air valve and pump. Simple annual (or longer depending on usage) service that most guys can do themselves.

Then again..I'm biased.
