About 3 years ago I went and did a test spot on a house. This year after they added an addition to the house they called me to strip what was left but pointed out this green spot where I did the test patch. It is not mold, does anyone have any idea?

ps I have no idea why the picture is not showing up and you have to click the link.

The picture clarity is a little fuzzy however, it looks like green algae. Does it have a texture sort of like 100 grit sandpaper?

Looks like algae to me, like what grows on a lot of houses around here.

Steven Mendez. Is this for real?

Sorry Ralph but it sure is for real. trust me I washed 50 gazzilion sq. feet of moldy siding. but a sponge with sh didn't budge it. there is no mold anywhere else on the house ANYWHERE, Except where I did the test spot. it almost looks like spray paint, fluorescent green spray paint.

Maybe some mineral spirits on a rag and see what happens.

Just came back from there doing a double check. still there didn't budge.

I am going to strip the rest of the house and it makes me a little nervous, I mean I stripped that spot just like I would anything else and what the heck would I do if it popped up all over the rest that I stripped?
